Induction of transplantation resistance to Rous sarcoma isograft by avian leukosis virus

, : Induction of transplantation resistance to Rous sarcoma isograft by avian leukosis virus. Virology 39(3): 482-490

Avian leucosis virus (ALV) particles induced the production of transplantation antigens that cross reacted immunologically with transplantation antigens specific for Rous sarcoma virus (RSV) tumour. Mice injected with high doses of avian leucosis virus or ALV-transformed chicken myeloblasts were resistant to isografts of tumours induced by Rous sarcoma virus.
