Influence of nitrogen fertilizing on the yield of rye and winter wheat and on the content and composition of protein in the grain

, : Influence of nitrogen fertilizing on the yield of rye and winter wheat and on the content and composition of protein in the grain. Pam. Pulaw, 24, 229-50. Bibl. 12

Application of up to 90 kg N/ha increased grain yields of rye and winter wheat. Split applications at the beginning of growth and at heading gave the best results. Increasing the rate of N or applying it as split dressings increased percentage N in the grain.
