Data from a number of experiments in central and southern California are here summarized to show the relationships between the N content of 5-7-month-old bloom-cycle leaves from non-fruiting shoots and the factors of yield, rind quality and colour, internal fruit quality and boron and sulfate toxicity in oranges.
