The ring-weeder unit consists of an inverted aluminium cone shield of 18 inches top diam. and 2 1/2 inches bottom diam., 14.5 inches high with a slot at the front to facilitate placing the cone over the tree. The cone is supported by a handle carrying a metering device and charging lever. Four Monarch 14-5 solid cone nozzles, spaced round the outside perimeter of the cone, give overlapping spray patterns.
