Farm operators were interviewed to provide costs- and-returns data for crops grown in the area. Livestock cost-and-return information was prepared from reports of studies made in nearby areas. The crops considered were alfalfa, barley, potatoes, oats, and silage maize. Two beef fattening enterprises and a beef-breeding herd operation were also considered.
