Some 2000 forms of Gossypium hirsutum having been tested for reaction to Verticillium wilt. 40 further forms were tested in 1966-67. Buri from India was much more resistant. than 108F and gave a higher yield, though in uninfected plots it was 10-12 days later. A number of cultivars from the USA were resistant. as were two from Azerbaijan. these two being 7-10 days earlier than 108F. A form from Brazil and one from S.
