Notes on some cysticercoids from pulmonate molluscs and leeches in British freshwaters

, : Notes on some cysticercoids from pulmonate molluscs and leeches in British freshwaters. J. Helminth, 42: 1/2, 131-138

Cysticercoids of Dicranotaenia coronula were obtained from the stomach contents of Lymnaea peregra and L. stagnalis. Cysticercoids of Micro-somacanthus compressa were also found in these 2 hosts and in L. palustris. The author speculates on the involvement of molluscs in the life-cycle of these 2 species. The molluscs were collected near Cardiff, Britain.
