During regular searches for mosquitos of the genus Aedes in a cattle shed in Petrov, near Hodom'n, Czechoslovakia, in the summers of 1962 and 1963, A. vexans (Mg.), A. caspius (Pall), A. sticticus (Mg.), A. cantans (Mg.), A. cinereus (Mg.) and A. flavescens (Mull.) were found.
