, : Radiation, radioisotopes and rearing methods in the control of insect pests. Proceedings of a panel organized by the joint FAO/IAEA Division of Atomic Energy in Food and Agriculture and held in Tel Aviv. Radiation, radioisotopes and rearing methods in the control of insect pests. Proceedings of a panel organized by the joint FAO/IAEA Division of Atomic Energy in Food and Agriculture and held in Tel Aviv, Vienna, Int. Atom. Energy Ag, 6+] 148. Price: <pounds>1 13s. 4d

A meeting was held in Tel Aviv in October 1966 to disseminate information on techniques for mass-rearing arthropods for work on control by the sterile-male technique, which had been the subject of a meeting in 1964. Papers on species of medical or veterinary interest are noticed elsewhere. Those of interest for agricultural entomology are: Environmental and behavourial aspects of the mass rearing of plant-feeding lepidopterans (pp. 19-30, 37 refs.), by S. D. BECK & G.
