Separation of dansyl-amino acids by polyamide layer chromatography

, : Separation of dansyl-amino acids by polyamide layer chromatography. Biochimica et Biophysica Acta 133(2): 369-370

The derivatives formed by reaction of amino acids with dimethylaminonaphthalene-5-sulphonyl chloride were simply and efficiently separated by two dimensional chromatography on thin layers of polyamide ( epsilon -polycaprolactam bonded to solvent resistant polyester sheets).
