Silviculture of fast-growing species in the hill zone of Ancona province

, : Silviculture of fast-growing species in the hill zone of Ancona province. Monti e Boschi. 19: 5, 39-42

The two most promising species are Pinus wallichiana and Picea abies. Pinus radiata, except in one trial, has proved insufficiently hardy. Abies cephalonica, Cupressus macrocarpa, Cedrus atlantica and C. deodara can be grown, but their rate of increment is not remarkable.
