A collection of 57 forms made in 1968-69 was sown in spring and in summer. In the former case bolting was 19.4-32.4%, in the latter, 4.3-5-2%. Yields varied from 2.1 to 2.5 kg. per m.2 in the spring crop and from 2.6 to 4.0 kg. in the summer, where the standard Mirzoi krasnaja 228 gave 3.2-3.3 and 3.3-5.0 kg. respectively.
