The cytotaxonomic status of Vaccinium angustifolium Aiton in commercial blueberry fields of Maine

, : The cytotaxonomic status of Vaccinium angustifolium Aiton in commercial blueberry fields of Maine. Diss. Abstr, 25: 3183 p

The tetraploid V. angustifolium is the predominant form throughout Maine. It is commonly associated with V. myrtilloides. Cross pollinations between V. angustifolium and V. myrtilloides resulted in a normal set. The majority of V. angustifolium clones were partly self sterile. V. boreale is seldom found.
