The dynamics of resistance to low frequency electrical stimulation in 1-year-old apple shoots and its use for comparative evaluation of cold-hardiness

, : The dynamics of resistance to low frequency electrical stimulation in 1-year-old apple shoots and its use for comparative evaluation of cold-hardiness. Trudy cent. gen. Lab. I. V. Micurina, 11: 143-60. bibl. 68

A simplified method and equipment are described for determining the electrical resistance of tissues. The data obtained can be used for analysing the physiological state of the plants. The lowest resistance in the 4 cvs studied was noted during active shoot growth, and the highest in the winter during deep dormancy.
