The effect of some retardante on the height of chrysanthemum plants

, : The effect of some retardante on the height of chrysanthemum plants. Acta Pruhoniciana, 24, 10-34

Short days had a greater growth-retarding effect on chrysanthemum cvs than treatment with CCC, B9 or Phosfon-D. Growth in height was most vigourous during the 14 days after transplanting, and the application of retardants during that time was the most effective. Plants grown in short days were less sensitive to chemical treatment than those in long days, and the cvs themselves differed in their reaction to the retardants.
