The fundamental research to the application of systemic insecticides (II). The absorption and translocation of several insecticides in rice plant by soil application

, : The fundamental research to the application of systemic insecticides (II). The absorption and translocation of several insecticides in rice plant by soil application. Botyu-Kagaku. 36: 1, 17-24

The following is based on the authors' summary of this account of further studies in Japan on the action of systemic insecticides. Vamidothion, disulfoton, dimethoate, thiometon and mecarbam were labelled with 32P for studies on their absorption by and translocation in rice plants. The insecticides were applied to the surface of the soil in petri dishes in which rice seedlings were growing.
