, : The growth of Indian agriculture: a regional analysis. Geogrl Rev., New York, N.Y, 59: 3, 348-72

This study reveals the existence of marked regional differences in agricultural development in India. It shows that both rates of growth of agricultural output and levels of acceptance of modern technology in agriculture are higher in the southern and western states than in the eastern and north-central states.
