Time of harvesting flooded rice

, : Time of harvesting flooded rice. International Rice Research Institute Annual Report, 1968. 174-179

In trials in 1968, rice IR8, IR5, C4-63 (an improved cv.) and Sigadis (a tall, lodging-susceptible cv.) were given 0, 60 or 120 kg N/ha in the dry season and 0, 30 or 60 kg N/ha in the wet season and harvested at 2-day intervals from 16 to 40 days after 50% heading. In the dry season, paddy yields of IR8, IR5, and C4-63 were similar, while those of Sigadis were significantly lower.
