, : Transmission of Helminthosporium maydis race T by infected Corn seed. Phytopathology, 61: 6, 747-748

Race T of Cochliobolus heterostrophus was recovered from 25% of maize seed from a 1969 remnant commercial lot which was grown in a controlled environment chamber. The pathogen grew with the seedlings and sporalated on the stem bases above ground level. Blight developed on the leaves of healthy plants in the vicinity.
