When eggs of Pyrilla perpusilla (Wlk.), an important pest of sugar-cane in India, containing the parasite Tetrastichus pyrillae Crwf. in the pupal stage were subjected to various temperatures in the laboratory, emergence of the adult parasites was over 99% at 18-30 degrees C. and 80% relative humidity but 0 at 10 and 35 degrees C..
