Bioremediation of domestic sewage polluted with waste motor oil

, : Bioremediation of domestic sewage polluted with waste motor oil. Ingenieria Hidraulica en Mexico 22(2): 113-118

One of the greatest environmental problems in Mexico and the world is pollution of domestic sewage with hydro-carbon derivatives (HC), such as waste motor oil (WMO). Sewage enrichment with essential nutrients for native microbes or biostimulation induces the mineralization of WMO. This paper evaluates bioestimulation on sewage from car wash and paint workshops enriched with a mineral solution (MS).
