Viruslike symptoms of yellow striate mosaic to necrotic streaks were observed on plantain leaves of the cultivar Dominico-Harton (Musa AAB Simmonds) in the municipalities of Andes, Venecia and Hispania (Antioquia) and Tebaida and Montenegro (Quindio), Colombia. Symptoms sometimes included mosaic and swelling at the base of the pseudostem.
