Improving the efficiency of extruders for feed production

, : Improving the efficiency of extruders for feed production. Mezhdunarodnyi Sel' skokhozyaistvennyi Zhurnal (5): 63

The use of extrusion processes in the preparation of feeds ensures that components of feeds are subjected to an efficient mechanical action which changes their chemical properties and increases their nutrient value and palatability. Processing of feeds under conditions of high temperature (up to 210 degrees C) and pressure (up to 25MPa) allows the possibility of microbiological contamination to be eliminated.
