Diagenesis and prediction of secondary porosity in the second member of the Dainan Formation in the Qintong Depression, northern Jiangsu, China

, : Diagenesis and prediction of secondary porosity in the second member of the Dainan Formation in the Qintong Depression, northern Jiangsu, China. Kuangwu Yanshi = Journal of Mineralogy and Petrology 18(4): 64-71

The types of diagenesis in the second member of the Dainan Formation in the Qintong Depression are mainly mechanical compaction, cementation, replacement, dissolution, and clay mineral filling. The scale of pore transformation by diagenesis was statistically analyzed. The development and distribution of secondary porosity are closely related to dense compaction, the mass dehydration stage of mild compaction, or the maturation stage of oil generation and the first rapid inversion zone of mixed-layer clay minerals.
