Classification and origin of mixosedimentite

, : Classification and origin of mixosedimentite. Dizhi Keji Qingbao = Geological Science and Technology Information 19(4): 31-34

Mixosedimentite is formed by the mixing of terrigenous clastics, carbonate clastics and mud, belonging to the intermediate between typical silicilastic and carbonate sediments. It can be classified into four main kinds according to its composition. While the mixing of siliciclastic and carbonate sediments can be divided into five kinds according to their origin: mixed by sudden event; by gradual facies change; mixed in situ; by erosion; by palaeokarst. The characteristics of the mixing are described and discussed systematically in the paper.
