Development and applications of geological and mineral resources point-source information system (GMPIS)

, : Development and applications of geological and mineral resources point-source information system (GMPIS). Earth Science Journal of China University of Geoscience

An integrated geological and mineral resources point-source information system (GMPIS) consists of three parts; exploration data management, exploration data process, and geological-mineral resources prediction-evaluation. This system has unified data model, standard code system, normative processing pattern and integrated function software. Geological and mineral resources point-source information systems are established on the basic exploration units (data collection locales).
