, : Discovery of spotted schists from northern Abukuma plateau and its significance. Jap Assoc

The albite spotted schists that characterize part of the Yamagami metamorphic rock complex of the northeast Abukuma plateau are similar to the spotted schists of the Sambagawa metamorphic zone. Some pumpellyite also occurs in the Yamagami metamorphics. The relationship between these rocks and their metamorphic character are described.
