Problems and prospects of Bazhenov Formation exploration

, : Problems and prospects of Bazhenov Formation exploration. Neftyanoye Khozyaystvo 2001(9): 63-68

Geological production characteristics and mineralogical composition of Bazhenov Formation have been presented. Purposeful works for testing of the water effect on these rocks in three wells of Salym and one well of Maslikhovskoye Oilfield have been accomplished. The possibility of artificial fragmentation of cited rocks using water injection at high well head pressure has been proved. Four stages of development of research areas of Bazhenov Formation have been considered.
