Quantitative prognostic evaluation criteria of graphite deposits

, : Quantitative prognostic evaluation criteria of graphite deposits. Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedeniy Geologiya i Razvedka

Graphite deposits of Aldan and Karelia are cited as cases in point to illustrate the possibility of quantitative prognostic evaluation of graphite-bearing areas providing for the determination of main economic parameters, i.e., sizes of graphite-bearing bodies, graphite contents and quality, using a set of geological, geophysical and mineralogical (X-ray structural) exploration-evaluation criteria. An analysis of "exploration probability" makes for high reliability of exploration prognostic derivations.
