Some Costa Rican larger foraminiferal localities

, : Some Costa Rican larger foraminiferal localities. Journal of Paleontology 35(3): 498-501

Nineteen species of larger Foraminifera, of which 2 species are from the Upper Cretaceous, 1 from the middle Eocene, 11 from the upper Eocene, and 4 from the upper Oligocene, are recorded from 10 Costa Rican localities. These faunas are correlated with other well known Caribbean localities.
