The acidity, series, tectonic settings and magmatic origin of Mesoproterozoic and Mesozoic volcanic rocks from Beijing, China

, : The acidity, series, tectonic settings and magmatic origin of Mesoproterozoic and Mesozoic volcanic rocks from Beijing, China. Yanshi Kuangwuxue Zazhi = Acta Petrologica et Mineralogica 17(2): 104-117

The geology, petrology, mineral chemistry, geochemistry, petrogenesis, and tectonic environment of Middle Proterozoic and Mesozoic volcanic rocks from the Beijing area are discussed, as well as the spatial and temporal distribution and compositional variations of those volcanic rocks. Acidity frequency and magma series were analyzed, tectonic setting and pull-apart distance were estimated, and the sources and evolutionary mechanism of magmas were evaluated.
