The origin of trace elements in ground waters and springs located at the foot of Mt. Fuji and Kofu Basin, central Japan

, : The origin of trace elements in ground waters and springs located at the foot of Mt. Fuji and Kofu Basin, central Japan. Proceedings of the Symposium on Geo-Environments 12: 149-152

The purpose of this study is to investigate the migration of trace elements in various kinds of water samples. Regarding the ground waters and springs located at the foot of Mt. Fuji and in the Kofu Basin, distinct differences of rubidium and strontium concentrations were observed. Therefore, the difference was essentially explained that the rubidium and strontium concentrations in the ground waters and springs located at the foot of Mt. Fuji and in the Kofu Basin reflect the geochemical effects. However, the rubidium and strontium concentrations in the ground waters and springs located at the foot of Mt. Fuji and in the Kofu Basin do not correspond with the dissolved rubidium and strontium concentrations assumed by the geochemical distribution.
