Trace element characteristics of a magmatic rock series in the Lanping Basin, Yunnan, China, and its neighboring areas

, : Trace element characteristics of a magmatic rock series in the Lanping Basin, Yunnan, China, and its neighboring areas. Chengdu Ligong Xueyuan Xuebao = Journal of Chengdu Institute of Technology 28(1): 40-44

Using the NAA method, the authors studied REE and trace element geochemistry of the magmatic rock series from Yongping Zhuopan, Yunlong Zaojiaochang, Erlongshan, Diannan, Madeng, Beiya, and Laojunshan in the Lanping Basin and its neighboring regions. The authors also discuss REE geochemistry characteristics, diagenesis, and tectonic environment of the magmatic rock series. The results show: 1) REE patterns of the magmatic rock series are similar, and they are rich in LREE; 2) they have high La/Yb ratios; 3) the Eu and Ce anomaly is not obvious. The magmatic rock series has high Rb, Ba, Sr, Th, U and low Ta. The diagenetic source mainly comes from the enriched mantle and partly from the crust; the diagenetic process is batch partial melting; and the diagenetic environment is continental rifting.
