Preliminary study on the trace elements in coals of the Dongsheng mining district, Shenfu coal field, Shaanxi, China

, : Preliminary study on the trace elements in coals of the Dongsheng mining district, Shenfu coal field, Shaanxi, China. Meitian Dizhi yu Kantan = Coal Geology and Exploration 26(3): 11-15

Seven hundred and thirty-two core samples are sampled from five minable coal seams in the Yan'an Formation in the Dongsheng mining district, Shenfu coalfield. Twenty-three trace elements in coals are determined using spectroscopy, atomic fluoroscopy, and atomic absorption methods. The contents and distributions of trace elements in coals and the enrichment coefficients of trace elements relative to the crust abundance are expounded, and the hazardous and useful elements are evaluated.
