, : Premiere contribution a letude des chilopodes (Chilopoda) de Provence et description d'une nouvelle sous-espece. Bulletin de la Societe Linneenne de Provence 58: 21-36

This study is a first inventory of centipedes (Chilopoda) collected at Mont Ventoux (Yaucluse), at Montagne de Lure (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) and at Bouches-du-Rhone. A new lithobiomorph subspecies is described: Lithobius (Lithobius) subtilis geoffroyi n. ssp. (Lithobiomorpha, Lithobiidae). Lithobius (Lithobius) piceus verhoeffi Demange, 1958 is new for the French fauna, and three other taxa are quoted for the first time in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur : Lamyctes emarginatus (Newport, 1844) (Henicopidae), Geophilus gavoyi Chalande, 1910 (Geophilomorpha, Geophilidae) and Strigamia transsilvanica (Verhoeff 1928) (Linotaeniidae). A preliminary list of centipedes of this region is given.
