, : Status of the black stork (Ciconia nigra) in Hungary in 2000. Aquila. 2000-2001( ); 107-108: 207-213

Based on a systematic survey, overall analysis is given on the nesting habits and breeding success of Hungarian Black Storks (Ciconia nigra). Although Black Storks are not monitored with the same intensity' thrughout the country but the monitoring is well organized where strongholds of the Hungarian population is located. Breeding data and national population estimates were updated as well as habitats preferred by the species were identified. Population trends were also investigated.
