, : Trapping of air-borne insects in the Pacific-Antarctic area, 1. Pacific Insects 4(4): 847-858

Report of trapping 2124 insects from a weather ship and a military transport in temperate and subtemperate Pacific waters, and 6 insects from ship in sub Antarctic waters; also 30 insects from a trap operated in U. S. Super-Constellation airplanes, part in the Antarctic Pacific and part over the continental United States. Results are tabulated in detail, and the suction trap is described and figured.
