Changes in bryophyte vegetation in the experimental area Schinig platte, Bernese Oberland, 1945-1954

, : Changes in bryophyte vegetation in the experimental area Schinig platte, Bernese Oberland, 1945-1954. Ber Geobot Forschungsinst Rubel Zurich 1957: 80-92

Plots in the experimental area are fertilized and harvested according to various principles, in order to elucidate the development of alpine meadows under cultivation conditions. The development of the moss cover is followed by means of permanent squares. The recent check showed that the number of species had increased, but only the very frequent species had increased quantitatively. The sociologic frequencies of mosses had increased. Brachythecium salebrosum persisted as the most important species.
