The color of the fluorescence of Bact paratyphi A, Bact paratyphi B, Bact dysenteriae Flex-ner, Bact typhi abdominalis, Bact coli, Bact dysenteriae Shiga-Kruse, and Bact dysenteriae Y was found after exposure to ultraviolet. Some distinct species differences were obtained, but different strains of the same species often gave different colors.
