Einfluss des Thy-roxins auf das Froschauge

, : Einfluss des Thy-roxins auf das Froschauge. Arch Internat Pharmacodyn Et Ther 48(3/4): 379-382

The pupils of Rana esculenta and R. temporaria slightly dilate after the application of solutions of thyroxin (0.1%) ; subsequently the effects of epinephrine are greater than in normal eyes. Although dilute solutions of KOH also appear to sensitize frogs' eyes to epinephrine, the thyroxin effect is believed to be due to some other factor.
