Experiment of swine Ascaris extermination Discussion on the times of application of sodium fluoride preparation

, : Experiment of swine Ascaris extermination Discussion on the times of application of sodium fluoride preparation. Mem Coll Agric Natl Taiwan Univ: 52-57

The sodium fluoride preparation, more than 95%, pure causes no secondary reaction when applied in the range from 0.08 to 0.32 g/kg body weight each dose. This dose is no more than the daily dose used in the western countries. The anthelmintic effect of the preparation shown in the 4 lots giving the preparation was in the range from 66.7-82.6%, Lot I (0.08 g/kg x 3) and Lot 4 (0.32 g/kg x 1) showed the highest effectivity of about 80 %.
