Fluorescence spectra of intravitally fluorochrome-treated microorganisms

, : Fluorescence spectra of intravitally fluorochrome-treated microorganisms. Zh Mikrobiol Epidemiol Immunobiol 42(3): 22-25

The spectra of the secondary fluorescence of Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Streptococcus and Staphylococcus examined by direct spectrophotometry were intravitally fluorochrome-treated by adding a stain to the nutrient medium. The character of fluorescence differed in the 3 species. Although during the process of culture growth (1-5 days) the spectrum underwent a number of changes,it was species specific.
