Function of reticulo-endothelial tissue in the diseased organism

, : Function of reticulo-endothelial tissue in the diseased organism. Compt Rend Soc Biol 94(9): 623-624

In white mice inoculated subcutaneously with "microbes du rouget" the organisms entered the blood and lymph streams by way of endothelial and mesen-chyme cells. Animals similarly inoculated and receiving immune serum showed that organs with well developed reticulo-endothelium are the first to become bacteria-free.
