, : Gross effects of triethylenemelamine on gonads of starlings. Anat Rec 142(3): 353-357

Triethylenemelamine (TEM) when fed to captive starlings (Sturnus vulgaris) at levels of 0.1 mg. daily for 7-21 days inhibited the normal seasonal development of testes, or caused regression of active testes, or prevented development of testes or ovaries in birds under a 15-hour photoperiod.
