Immuno-logical aspects of ischemic and traumatic affections of the myocardium

, : Immuno-logical aspects of ischemic and traumatic affections of the myocardium. Klin Med 45(6): 81-88

The serum was investigated for antibodies against the myocardium by passive hemag-glutination, consumption of component and precipitation in 119 patients with acute coronary insufficiency, 3 with heart wound and 20 controls. Antibodies appeared from the end of the 1st wk. of the disease reaching the maximal titer in the 3rd-4th wk. and disappearing towards the end of the 2nd mo. of the disease. The nonimmune nature of the principal process and the dynamics of antibody development enable these antibodies to be determined as one of the forms of the physiological mechanism of elimination of products of cellular disintegration.
