Improved photography of the larynx

, : Improved photography of the larynx. Medical & Biological Illustration 9: 231-235

A new endoscope with a mirror reflex viewing device attached to the Robot camera is described. The endoscope, with a diameter of lcm, permits the incorporation of improved optics which transmit considerably more light. A 90[degree] prism and two pigmy low voltage bulbs are fitted at the distal end. Depth of field is sufficiently adequate to render critical focussing unnecessary. Exposures of 1/25 to 1/50 sec. can be used with 35mm. reversal color film, when the bulbs are momentarily overrun from 6V to 24V.
