Intrathoracic duplication of the foregut

, : Intrathoracic duplication of the foregut. Thorax 17(4): 357-362

Fourteen previously unrecorded examples of foregut duplication in the mediastinum are presented. The embryological facts relating to this abnormality are briefly discussed and the relationship between both mediastinal and intraabdominal duplications of the foregut and the split notochord syndrome is emphasized.
