Laboratory investigations on certain large-sized germs isolated from infants with encephalo-pneumonitis syndrome

, : Laboratory investigations on certain large-sized germs isolated from infants with encephalo-pneumonitis syndrome. Rev Roumaine Inframicrobiol 2(2): 99-107

Large-sized germs were isolated in hen embryonate eggs from 5 cases of "encephalo-pneumonitis." The isolated strains were inoculated by intransal route to mice and by intraperitoneal route to guinea pigs. The neutralization tests showed antigenic relationships with the A. M. pararickettsia group and Rickettsia burneti.
