Myoanatomy of the marine tardigrade Halobiotus crispae (Eutardigrada: Hypsibiidae)

, : Myoanatomy of the marine tardigrade Halobiotus crispae (Eutardigrada: Hypsibiidae). Journal of Morphology 270(8): 996-1013

The muscular architecture of Halobiotus crispae (Eutardigrada: Hypsibiidae) was examined by means of fluorescent-coupled phalloidin in combination with confocal laser scanning microscopy and computer-aided three-dimensional reconstruction, in addition to light microscopy (Nomarski), scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).

Clinicians lack a validated tool for risk stratification for need for mechanical ventilation (MV) in acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD). We sought to compare 2 risk scores, BAP-65 and CURB-65, at predicting a nee...

Sulfonamidohelicene tetramer (M)-1 exhibits a concentration threshold and amplification phenomena in solution during helix-dimer formation from a random-coil. The (M)-tetramer is a random-coil below a threshold concentration, and the concentration...
