Nerve cells with myelinated bodies in the central and peripheral nervous system

, : Nerve cells with myelinated bodies in the central and peripheral nervous system. Arkh Anat Gistol Embriol 52(2): 51-54

A study of the brain in the frog (Rana temporaria) with the help of the methods used for revealing myelin enabled discovery of nerve cells with myelin sheaths enveloping their bodies. The cells were distributed in the dorsal part of the diencephalon, epithalamus, under the cells of the ganglion habenulae. No data on the presence in the central nervous system of the nerve cells with myelin sheath revealed by histological methods were found in the available revelant literature.
